Bluebird, icy cold days brought 3 Northwesterners to New England. The wary travelers endured canceled flights and red eyes to arrive. Thanks, weather gods. Your white, fluffy trickery worked. They changed their flights on the other end and stuck around the gambrel palace a few more days. Continue reading
A few more weeks at the Sullivans saw all family members, a new truck, a Jesus cake, a Christmas light short, a Christmas tree spectacle, a first birthday and a new year. Whew. Yet after all that, tears welled as we packed our suitcases to move down the hill.

Speaking of falls, she’s taken several tumbles down the new stairs at Bainbridge and hit her head on a good many tables, but she continues her exploratory mission with gusto.
She’s very vocal. Ba ba and da da da are among her favorites. She eats everything lentils, sausage, baguettes and fish (both the fresh and gold varietals). Continue reading
Cliche #4002 that is absolutely true of parenting: When your baby achieves 9 months of postpartum living you feel pride, gut level joy and nostalgia. Happy 9 months, little Evvie. I way prefer you out in the world. Continue reading
