Early this month, a fabulous crew busted down our popcorn ceilings, opened a wall for new french doors and jackhammered kitchen tile, which reportedly fought its displacement ferociously. We’re so excited to see it transform.
A new experience for us, we drove south to NH to check out slabs of stone in a parking lot. Ev slept in the truck while Adele played and we wandered the rainy lot to settle on this slab of soapstone.
A drive to NH was a perfect excuse to check out the Montshire museum where we ran into the Feldman family. The evening ended with Ev home in her crib and us on their couch with fresh cookies and Everest on the big screen. Cheers to moments with new friends (who bake) away from children (who don’t sleep).
